Memorial fund, vigil set for Amber Owens

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A memorial fund is now established to assist the family of Amber Owens.

Owens is the woman whose body was found alongside a road in Trotwood on December 4 after she was reported missing weeks before.

The fund is set up at any JP Morgan Chase Bank.

Contributions should be made payable to the Amber Owens Mays Family Trust.

A prayer vigil is also planned to remember Owens. It will be held at noon on Saturday, December 13 at the corner of Post Town Road and Shank Avenue. That is the location where Owens’ body was found.

There have been no arrests so far.
