Vigil held tonight in honor of Amber Owens

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Dozens of candles burned bright tonight in memory of Amber Owens.

Family and friends came together for a vigil to remember the 23-year old.

A prayer was followed by sharing stories about the mother of three.

Owens went missing on October 24th  and her body was found Thursday on a road in Trotwood.

“The question of why. Why it happened, why it happened that way.a lot of questions on why now we hope for whoever did this to amber justice is served” said Anthony Roebeck, Amber Owens cousin, who spoke at the vigil.

Family members ask for anyone with information to come forward.
