Woman accused of pulling knife after man unplugs air freshener

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A woman reportedly pulled a knife on a man after he unplugged her Glade air freshener.

Police were dispatched to the 2600 block of North Gettysburg Avenue around 6:30 p.m. Friday on a domestic complaint.

When officers arrived, they met with a man who said he was cut by his child’s mother. He said she was eight months pregnant with their child. Police reported he had visible injuries.

The man told police he unplugged the woman’s Glade pug-in to play his Xbox. He said she then unplugged his game and put the Glade plug-in back in the outlet when an argument ensued. He said she grabbed a steak knife from the kitchen and began to swing it at him. He said he was able to knock her down into a chair and get the knife away from her.
