MIAMI COUNTY, Ohio (WDTN) — Deputies with the Miami County Sheriff’s Office said 28-year-old Todd Clark, wanted on child abuse allegations, turned himself in.
Officials said Clark showed up in the lobby of the Sheriff’s Office before 5 p.m. Saturday. He faces charges of domestic violence, felonious assault, and child endangering.
Deputies believe he injured his girlfriend’s two-year-old daughter while she was in his care Friday.
According to reports, the child is in serious condition with bruises on her head and face.
Deputies said the baby’s mother left her and another child in Clark’s care when she went to work Friday. She said when she came home around 4:30 p.m., she found her daughter with bruises all over her. Clark told her a box spring mattress fell on the child.
