Sheriff: Adams County woman kidnapped after domestic violence incident

ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. — Adams County sheriff’s deputies were searching for a women on Friday, who they say was kidnapped after an alleged domestic violence incident.

The Adams County Sheriff’s Office said they were on the lookout for alleged victim Stephany Bauderer and suspect Timothy James Montoya. They were asking the public to remain alert, as well.

Bauderer is described as a 5-foot-5, 120-pound white female with blonde hair and green eyes. Montoya is described as a 5-foot-5, 170-pound white male with brown hair and hazel eyes.

The sheriff’s office said deputies were dispatched around 10 a.m. to a 1000 block of West Erie Street, a Denver neighborhood near the Pecos Street exit off Highway 36, on the report of a kidnapping in progress.

Bauderer was reportedly forced into a 1995 gold Ford Explorer with a Colorado license plate, number 845-GWO.
