As a child my mother was there every Christmas. The rise of deaths because of Domestic Violence, leaves a lot of kids without one or both parents.
This will be our first year working on this project Hannah’s Treasure. Which is giving back portion of No More Blows. We will do our part to make sure kids have a brighter smile this Christmas. I was 30 when my mother passed and Holidays have not been the same.
Imagine being a child who actually witnessed the death of your mother or father. The horrific scream as you hear the gun go off. I can’t even imagine the pain these kids feel.
Most of these children are currently being raised by a family member, for some a grandparent who is already on a fixed income.
This years help Hannah’s Treasure by sowing a small seed. We are asking for $5.00 if you can sow a little more that’s fine. The goal is to get 3 young boys a gift certificate to Toys R’ Us. If you live locally you can buy a gift and wrap it from your family. The ages of all 3 are 9, 10 and 11.
You can mail your check or money order to:
Main Source Bank
8266 N Main St.
All checks should be made payable to No More Blows. I can’t wait to see what we as adults will do for these children. If you have any questions please email us at email@example.com. I’m excited just thinking about how these kids will be blessed in spite of.
English Standard Version (ESV)
18 “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.
For a little while these kids went without. Each year we will add more kids. This year we started off small. Be on the lookout as we continue to have kids with needs to be met. Prom time and graduation are just around the corner.
