31 Days of Blogging

Good evening, tomorrow I’ll start my second 31 Day Blog Challenge!!! Last time I successfully did 26 posts. That’s better than the 4 or 5 I was doing.

The last challenge I made some wonderful new blogging friends. I even had a young lady email a wonderful Domestic Violence outline. Also started some new Twitter relationships as well.

I’m double excited this month. October is Breast Cancer and Domestic Violence Awareness Month. I’m not a survivor of Breast Cancer BUT I am a supporter.

I am a survivor of Domestic Violence. A passion of mine. I believe in going back to the same gutter God rescued me from to save others.

Please be prepared to get a post daily.

Delight in The Lord

Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. (Psalm 1:1, 2 NIV)

God is looking for daily workers. Those who will serve with their whole heart. Today allow God to be your delight. Press for a crown that does NOT perish.

Peace, hugs and love

My Reminder For You

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord ’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor. They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations. Strangers will shepherd your flocks; foreigners will work your fields and vineyards. And you will be called priests of the Lord, you will be named ministers of our God. You will feed on the wealth of nations, and in their riches you will boast. (Isaiah 61:1-6 NIV)

I Wonder If……

I must admit the founder of Chick-fil-a was really on to something. One thing I LOVE about the company is THEY stick to what they are known for.

Have you ever ordered pizza from Chick-fil-a? Not at all, they serve what they are good at. Some of the other fast food chains need to follow the same idea.

Enough of them what if the Church did what was best, you know what God created it for.

What if we went back to the days people left the church feeling better not bitter, feeling healed not hindered, what would we look like then?

I think WE might go back to seeing signs, wonders and miracles. Now it’s like we hear songs with NO substance, word that’s NOT Bible and messy folks tearing it all apart.

Disobedient people doing what God NEVER called them to do. Just because he/she has the title of Pastor does NOT mean God did it.

Not the kind of message you wanted to hear is it? The reality is you wouldn’t want to go order a pizza from Chick-fil-a would you?

Why is it WE has Christians allow people to come into Gods house and leave disappointed? It’s time out for that. It’s time for us to GROW UP and do what God has called us to.

We ALL have been called to do something to build the kingdom of God. Often fear and shame keep us frozen, unable to take the proper steps to destiny.

Truth is your call MAY NEVER come with a microphone in your hand BUT it’s just as important as the others.

You never see your lungs or heart BUT you need both of them to survive. Gods needs ALL of His children living on purpose.

It’s my prayer WE as Christians walk in what He created US for.

Let me leave a little verse with you!!

Go, eat your food with gladness, and drink your wine with a joyful heart, for God has already approved what you do. (Ecclesiastes 9:7 NIV)

Who’s approval are you waiting for now? If God created you for it, you’re already approved for it.

Peace, love and hugs

10 Steps To Avoid Seasonal Dating

Ladies PLEASE read!!!!

Assummer comes to an end, we now enter what is known as “cuffing season”, (the time where the weather drops, and the desire to be in a relationship all snuggled up with a partner rises).  For some, it’s easier to commit to a relationship during the cold winter seasons because the desire to be out at social functions and meeting new people decreases, but when spring and summer comes back around, they’re right back on the dating scene. Here are some steps you can take that will increase the chances of a “non-seasonal”, and longer-lasting relationship.

Step 1: Completely end one relationship before starting a new one.

Step 2: When you meet someone new, talk on the phone first to determine whether or not he/she is worthy of spending your time with on a date.

Step 3: Go out on several dates with different qualified candidates…

Before Christ…..

Do you remember you life BC (before Christ) all the silly things you would do?

Tonight while preparing to go into nightly worship with God, it was like a movie over my “dumb stuff” played right before my eyes.

The tears started falling quickly as the movie played. If I could think of a name for the movie it would be The Abuse of Grace and Mercy. Not that I’m proud of that at all.

Like many of you I used grace an mercy as a crutch, or a license to sin some would say. Just straight foolish of me.

Tonight I want to remind you how awesome God is. He is so kind, patient, loving and forgiving. Often forgiving us knowing when the opportunity comes we MIGHT do it again. Whatever your IT might be.

There comes a time when conviction will set in and you will really repent. Repent means to turn away from. You will give God a sincere cry for help and deliverance.

Let me ask this question how is it we can pray to God sloppy drunk and believe He will safely get us home. Then we doubt when we are sober?

How much more do you think he will protect someone in relationship with Him? Tonight think about the healing, deliverance and restoration you have been praying for.

The old movie is over God has forgiven ALL of that. The memory of Gods grace and mercy will NEVER be deleted.

Tonight I want you to believe God for your healing. Activate your faith like the woman with the issue of blood.

Let me leave a Bible verse with you:

See, the Sovereign Lord comes with power, and he rules with a mighty arm. See, his reward is with him, and his recompense accompanies him. (Isaiah 40:10 NIV)

Your reward of protection is waiting for you. Stand form on The Word of God.

Love, peace and hugs,

Lady K 🙏🙏🙏🙏💜💜💙💛❤️
