What is No More Blows? #31dbc

The founder of No More Blows, Kia A. Richardson WAS a victim of both sexual and physical abuse. From her experiences, she has a strong passion to be an advocate for survivors and victims of this silent epidemic. Kia currently mentors teens and young women who have recently left abusive relationships and are in the process of leaving. She also advocates for women suffering from post-abortion depression and anxiety. She started No More Blows in 2012 and in 2013 she started the process of incorporating as a Non Profit.

Established in 2013, No More Blows is a faith based non-profit organization aimed at raising awareness on ALL forms of domestic violence including physical, sexual, emotional and verbal abuse. Through community partnerships No More Blows brings awareness, provides services and educates community members about domestic violence.

The vision of No More Blows is to heighten awareness of Domestic Violence. Helping victims and survivors become empowered, encouraged, inspired, uplifted and restored.

1.) Publish an anthology- We are currently working on an Anthology allowing other survivors to tell their stories of victory. Our desire is not to make one person famous but to allow victims to see they are not alone. We have a few submissions one as far as South Africa. This shows abuse is not subject to the United States only.
2.) Host fundraisers
3.) Teach others how to become Advocates
4.) Teach workshops for churches
5.) Collaborate with other organizations with similar missions

We want to take a stand all around the globe and say, “No More Blows!”
It’s our desire you will come along side and take the stand with us.

Zechariah 2:8-9
The Message (MSG)
8-9 God-of-the-Angel-Armies, the One of Glory who sent me on my mission, commenting on the godless nations who stripped you and left you homeless, said, “Anyone who hits you, hits me—bloodies my nose, blackens my eye. Yes, and at the right time I’ll give the signal and they’ll be stripped and thrown out by their own servants.” Then you’ll know for sure that God-of-the-Angel-Armies sent me on this mission.

Love, Peace and Hugs,

Founder Kia A. Richardson
