That Garment Is Too Heavy For You.

Bloglets, how are you? Today in the Buckeye State it was wet and chilly. I searched high to see the Son-shine on this cloudy day. Enough of that we have something to talk about. Often when you hear womb you think of a baby, pregnancy other things like that. It’s rare to think about other things we carry in our womb. Tonight we will talk about some of the things we carry with us year after year. If you are like me, it might be 20 years worth of stuff. Often we don’t have a clue what to do with it. Let me tell you some of the garments I put on over the years; molestation, anger, rage, bitterness and stress just too name a few. Think of the garments you have put on. Feeling overwhelmed? The good news is you made it, which means God has a plan for you. Think of all you have been saved from. Still feeling sorry for yourself. The next time you ride past the hooker or crack head, just remember that could have been you. Am I saying its Gods will they are out there like that? Not at all, just saying without God that’s where you would be. Grace and mercy are the only gifts keeping your from the streets. Don’t believe me, if you ever get the chance just talk to one of them. Tonight I want you to focus on taking that garment off. I’m sure its weighing you down. Lack of sleep, aches in your body and loss of appetite. Those are all signs your garment might be too heavy. God is standing waiting to take the garment. Making an exchange giving you love, peace, joy and happiness. Just too name a few, hope that excites you. This week I have been doing a challenge to forgive. I will keep you updated as I work on this. My prayer is tonight we will rest in Gods arms, they are big enough for all of us. Ponder on this verse tonight. Isaiah 61:3 NIV and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor. When God is done with you He will put you on display. Not for you so the world can see He is still able. No matter what the garment is God wants it. Happy Garment Exchange Day! XOXOXOXOXOXOXOX!
